The American Cancer Society (ACS)'s 7 dietary guidelines for reducing your risk of cancer:

Cut down on total fat.

Cut down on salt-cured, smoked and nitrate-cured foods.

Eat more high-fiber food.

Include foods rich in vitamins A and C in your daily diet.

Include cabbage-family vegetables in your diet.

If you do drink, keep alcohol consumption moderate.

Avoid obesity.
