For example, patients being treated for arthritis, joint replacement, orthopedic injuries and other conditions benefit from the therapy pool. The pool allows
treatment to begin earlier and allows those that cannot tolerate land-based exercise to have maximum benefit from their therapy.
The outpatient services are provided through CRR, part of Cleveland County's 70,000 square-foot Dover Foundation YMCA. Modern technology, quality services and a unique
setting define this facility, located at the corner of Wyke Road and Hwy 150. The partnership with the YMCA enables CRR to provide a continuum of care and wellness services.
Patients receive individualized therapy programs under the supervision of CRR therapists during their prescribed treatment program. After discharge, patients have the unique
opportunity to utilize the YMCA facility through the “Building Bridges” program. This program helps transition CRR patients in to being YMCA members at a reduced cost.
The skilled and caring staff coupled with the extensive collection of therapy equipment at CRR further defines its commitment to restoring all patients, children,
adolescents and adults, to a life that is as full and rewarding as possible.
