Visiting Hours
Visits by family and friends can be very helpful. However, patient care is the primary concern at Cleveland
Regional Medical Center (CRMC),
and specific visiting hours and regulations have been established for each division or unit with the patient's
well being in mind.
- General visiting hours: noon to 8:30 p.m.
- Obstetrics: 2 to 3 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. except for immediate family
- Intensive Care Unit: (Visit times at the discretion of the nurse)
- 5:45 a.m to 6:30 a.m.
- 10 a.m to 11:00 a.m
- 3:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m.
- 7:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Visiting Regulations
The following are general guidelines for visitors:
- Visitors may not smoke in patient rooms or anywhere within CRMC. Exterior smoking areas are designated.
- Visitors must dress appropriately; shirts and shoes are required.
- People with colds, sore throats or any contagious diseases should not visit patients.
- Visitors should maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise.
- Visitors may be asked to leave the room during treatment or tests or when a physician or nurse is
consulting with the patient.
Parking
Free parking for patients and visitors is available in the lot directly in front of the main entrance 24
hours a day. Patients and visitors are cautioned not to park in reserved areas. Please lock your car.
CRMC is fortunate to have its own campus police department.
If you need an escort to your car, call
extension 73181. Emergency phones are located in campus parking areas for your added security.
Gift Shop
- Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Evelyn’s Touch Gift Shop is located in the main lobby of the hospital
and has a nice assortment of gifts for patients of all ages. Featured gift items include plants, jewelry, books, candy, magazines, balloons, and personal items.
Postage stamps are available for purchase and a mailbox is conveniently located nearby at the main entrance of the hospital. MasterCard and VISA cards are accepted.
Gift and Flowers for Patients
For the safety and well being of our patients, please use the following guidelines.
- Check with the patient’s nurse before bringing gifts of food or drink
- Live plants or fresh flowers are not allowed in the Intensive Care unit
- Pediatric patients are not allowed to receive latex balloons or gifts in plastic bags. All other gifts for our pediatric patients should be approved by the patient’s
nurse and parents.
Waiting Areas
Waiting areas are designed for visitors in the main lobby.
Specific waiting areas have been designated for families of patients in
Women and Children's Services, Intensive Care Units, Radiology, and the
Emergency Department. Family waiting for surgical patients is located in
the main lobby with a private room for physician consultation.
Chapel
The Chapel is located on the first floor of CRMC. All are welcome to visit the Chapel for prayer and meditation. If you desire a Chaplain, call extension 73579.
